Cos Lettuce
Our Cos Lettuce are grown for us by Malcolm and Kerry Bond on their farm at Hundred End, just 3 miles from us here in Tarleton.

Cos Lettuce (also known as Romaine) form long, almost oblong heads of tightly packed green leaves with a stiff central rib.
Used in Caesar Salad
Cos is the usual lettuce used in Caesar Salad but can be used in many salad recipes, the cupped internal leaves make great edible bowls which can be topped with any ingredient of your choice.

Cos Lettuce are available during the English outdoor growing season May – October.
